The remainder payment is the pay sent to your employee on payday. It is calculated by using the reported net pay for the given pay period and subtracting any early transfers and applicable fees.
In a hypothetical example, if an employee transferred $250 during the pay period (including fees) and their reported net pay is $700, he/she will then receive $450 on payday.
The remainder payment will always be sent by next-day ACH payment to arrive on the morning of payday into whatever account is designated as primary. In rare instances, it will be sent as a Same Day ACH transfer or Instant payment on payday.
