Cycle Payment cut-off times and expected delivery times

Cycle is a feature in the DailyPay Partner Portal that enables an employer to send one-off or batch paperless off-cycle payments to any employee. Please find the cut-off times to submit payments and expected delivery times to an employee’s destination account.

Payment Submission Cut-off Times for same-day and next-day delivery

In order to confirm Cycle payments will be delivered the same day as submitted, please find the cutoff times:

  • 3pm ET for payments to a non-DailyPay account
  • 11am ET for payments to a DailyPay Account (DPA) if you need the remainder pay after settlement to be delivered to the employee on the same day, and not just the funds delivered to the DPA.
  • 9pm ET for payments to a DailyPay Account (DPA) for the payment to be submitted to the DPA account.

In order to confirm Cycle payments will be delivered next day, please find the cutoff time:

  • 10pm ET for payments to any account

Timing of delivery to the employee’s destination account

If submitted before the 3pm cutoff to a non-DPA account or before 11am to a DPA account, the payment will be delivered to the user’s account by midnight on the same day.

  • Note: If the payment was sent to a DPA account before 9pm, it will reach their DPA account before midnight on the same day.

If submitted after the 3pm cutoff to a non-DPA account or after 11am to a DPA account, the payment will be delivered to the user’s account by 9am ET the latest on the following day.

Banking Holidays:

  • If a Cycle payment is sent within the timing parameters for same-day payment on a bank holiday, the payment will go through on the morning of the next business day by 6am.
  • If a Cycle payment is sent after the timing parameters for same-day payment the day before a bank holiday, the payment will be delivered by 9am the business day after the holiday.
    • For example, if today is Tuesday and tomorrow is a holiday and a Cycle payment is sent after 9 pm ET, then it will be delivered to the user by 9am on Thursday.
